Here at a N Brown we have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and customer centric individual to join our Risk & Compliance team as a Senior Compliance Manager.
The Role
As a Senior Compliance Manager, you will be Reporting to the Head of Compliance the role will advise, challenge and test regulatory compliance across the Group, with a primary focus on FCA requirements.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities.
- Offer regulatory interpretation and advice to stakeholders on both large-scale changes and ad hoc enquiries
- Lead horizon scanning activity including a consistent assessment and communication methodology
- Give the Compliance Monitoring team guidance on the regulatory impacts of any findings/any agreed management actions
- Manage regular FCA reports (RegData) and oversee stakeholder submission and validation process
- Submit FCA applications as required
- Deliver regulatory training and upskilling to stakeholders as required
Job Qualifications and Skills
- An experienced senior Compliance professional, preferably within a Consumer Credit environment.
- Strong knowledge of the FCA Handbook, especially CONC, DISP and SYSC and SMCR requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and high quality outputs
- Previous experience of submitting Gabriel/Reg Data
- Experience of direct interaction with the FCA
- Pragmatic and able to is till complex requirements into real scenarios
- ICA Diploma-qualified
- MS Office (especially Teams)
