Here at a N Brown we have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and customer centric individual to join our Risk & Compliance team as a Senior Compliance Manager.

 

The Role

 

As a Senior Compliance Manager, you will be Reporting to the Head of Compliance the role will advise, challenge and test regulatory compliance across the Group, with a primary focus on FCA requirements.

 

Responsibilities and Accountabilities. 

  • Offer regulatory interpretation and advice to stakeholders on both large-scale changes and ad hoc enquiries
  • Lead horizon scanning activity including a consistent assessment and communication methodology
  • Give the Compliance Monitoring team guidance on the regulatory impacts of any findings/any agreed management actions
  • Manage regular FCA reports (RegData) and oversee stakeholder submission and validation process
  • Submit FCA applications as required
  • Deliver regulatory training and upskilling to stakeholders as required

Job Qualifications and Skills

  • An experienced senior Compliance professional, preferably within a Consumer Credit environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the FCA Handbook, especially CONC, DISP and SYSC and SMCR requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and high quality outputs
  • Previous experience of submitting Gabriel/Reg Data
  • Experience of direct interaction with the FCA
  • Pragmatic and able to is till complex requirements into real scenarios
  • ICA Diploma-qualified
  • MS Office (especially Teams)
