UX Designer

We are looking for a UX Designer to join our team here at N Brown. If you have UX design experience and have experience or interest in retail- we’d love to hear from you! It’s fast and furious here at times, but this just means something new and exciting is always on the way.

You will have a portfolio of work demonstrating experience in creating user-centred design solutions and have an aptitude for customer behaviour, putting the customer at the heart of everything you do here at N Brown. We’re looking for a true collaborator and good teammate with a positive and supportive approach, able to work off your own imitative and demonstrate a thirst for learning!

What will you be doing as UX Designer?

• Work collaboratively with Research, product, CRO, front end development & technology teams to shape our core product by designing, prototyping and user-testing experiences for our digital products.
• Produce hi-fi designs, journey flows and prototypes which show a coherent, well thought out design solution.
• Utilise user research and customer experience management tools to understand effective solutions and better inform design decisions.
• Ensure your solution is customer led, is validated with customers and is insight driven.

What you need to be successful?

• Ability to interrogate a variety of sources when faced with a problem, always looking for answers beyond the obvious.
• Ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations and experience design.
• Ability to communicate highly technical and detailed information to a non-technical audience in a simple and straightforward manner.
• Excellent visual design sensibilities and skills.
• Proficiency in Sketch and experience of a variety of design tools, with a broad understanding of the technology landscape, including new and emerging technologies that will influence UX design.
• Understanding of mobile first, responsive design.
