Working here

HEAR FROM SOME OF OUR COLLEAGUES

I joined N Brown in 2013 as a part-time customer services advisor in our contact centre, and am now a People Manager. What I have really loved over my years working here is the opportunities to develop and find where I fit in the business. I’ve had multiple roles from handling complaints in our Financial Services division, to managing business change during the implementation of our HR information system. My journey so far wouldn’t have been possible without consistent support from my colleagues and managers which have allowed me to pursue secondment opportunities and a Masters Degree.

Meg Weedon, People Manager

I joined N Brown 22 years ago as a trainee programmer and have progressed to become Head of Cloud and Platform. I’ve always really enjoyed working at N Brown, mainly for the culture and the people.  Everyone is always willing to help and work together on problems you are trying to solve. I’ve had a lot of support over the years from colleagues, managers and other schemes like mentorship - N Brown has a lot to offer to someone starting their career.

Diane Roland, Head of Cloud and Platform

I began my journey with N Brown as a warehouse operative. Over time, I pursued a Business Management degree and took on diverse roles in our division, enhancing my logistics expertise. Recently, I earned a place in the 'Future Leaders Programme' and secured the Operations Manager position. I’m proud to say that our company fosters personal growth to drive both business success and individual aspirations.

I’m now Head of Buying for Jacamo. The business being so diverse and constantly evolving has given me many opportunities to both develop my skills and ultimately share my knowledge wider. There is a genuine willingness from colleagues to support each other, and so many opportunities for progression.
