The role 

The Creative Writer will write creative content across various channels to engage and inspire the reader to do something, such as buy into our product offering or engage with our brands. You may also write copy designed to convey valuable information about a brand, industry or issue.

What will you do as a Creative Copywriter at N Brown? 

  • Liaise with stakeholders to create world class creative writing content to deliver on a creative brief.  

  • Tailor the content and style of individual copywriting assignments according to their purpose.  

  • Ensure your work shows understanding of the target customer and adheres to brand guidelines. 

  • Develop key messages - understand the main thing that you want the reader to feel and do and how to communicate this effectively. 

  • Work with creative teams to ensure that the visual elements of the channel complement the words.  

  • Identify fresh and interesting angles for your writing.  

  • Write for a variety of channels e.g. webpages, blogs, email and or social media.  

  • Edit your own and others' writing and can act on feedback from others in a positive manner. 

  • Deliver accurate copywriting in a fast-paced environment. 

What skills and experience will you have? 

  • Previous work experience within copywriting in fast paced commercial environment. 

  • Proven high attention to detail.  

  • Proven creative writer with a strong portfolio of work in either Fashion or Home.  

  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and independently.  

  • Experience of working with online management tools, ideally Workfront.  

  • Having interpersonal skills.  

  • Having good business sense.  

  • Being able to work to strict deadlines.  

  • Being able to react positively to feedback.  

  • A degree in Marketing, English, Media or a related subject would be desirable
