We’re looking for a EDI&B Partner (Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging) to join the People team here at N Brown Group.

The EDI&B (Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging) Partner plays a key role in advancing our EDI&B initiatives, collaborating within the People Domain, Chapter Leads and key stakeholders across the enterprise to cultivate an inclusive workplace where every individual feels valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives.

What will you do as a EDI&B Partner at N Brown?

*        In partnership with the Head of Talent Development create and implement an enterprise EDI&B strategy and delivery calendar, aligned with the groups mission, vision, values, and behaviours.

*        Identify opportunities to embed EDI&B principles into all aspects of the enterprise, including talent acquisition, development, retention, comms, engagement and organisational design.

*        Establish measurable OKR’s to track progress and evaluate the effectiveness of EDI&B initiatives.

*        Develop and deliver training programs and workshops to raise awareness and promote understanding of EDI&B concepts among colleagues at all levels.

*        Provide guidance and support to leaders and people chapters on implementing inclusive leadership practices and addressing unconscious bias in decision-making processes.

                Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to implement strategies for attracting and hiring diverse candidates, ensuring equitable practices throughout the recruitment process.

*        Work closely with People Chapters to develop retention strategies that promote inclusivity and support the career development of underrepresented groups.

*        Lead the strategic direction, development, and implementation of the Embrace Communities.

 

What skills and experience will you have?

*        Foster partnerships with external organisations i.e., BRC, Retail Trust, Apprentice providers, Scholls and Colleges, and community groups, to advance EDI&B objectives and participate in relevant industry networks and events.

*        Promote volunteerism and philanthropic initiatives that address social justice issues and contribute to building more inclusive communities.

*        Prepare regular reports, board papers (ESG), and presentations to communicate progress and trends to senior leadership and stakeholders

*        Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and adjust strategies as needed to achieve EDI&B goals.

*        Coach and mentor leaders with an emphasis on agile, behavioural change management.

*        Build, deploy, and evaluate tools to measure success of programmes, colleague engagement, and areas of focus.

*        Be a credible key influencer across the enterprise establishing strong relationships.

*        Working in collaboration with key stakeholders to develop and implement the people strategy.

*        Be a key member of influence the people grow squads to deliver in-year growth.

Ways of Working

We offer hybrid working which varies across the business depending on the role you’re in. For this role, the expectation would be 2 days per week. Our Head Office is located in the Northern Quarter in Manchester City Centre. So if you are travelling by train, tram or bus we’re perfectly located, plus we’re surrounded by cool cafes, trendy bars and the best places to eat!

Our working hours are 36.17 per week and our core working hours are between 10am - 4pm. Given we don’t have strict working hours you can find the working pattern that’s right for you.
