The role

At N Brown, we have an exciting opportunity to join our in-house Digital Marketing team. We are looking for an experienced Group PPC Manager to manage and oversee multi-million-pound Paid Search channel across the entire group. Reporting directly into the Head of Performance Media you will lead the PPC team across the our four Agile Brand Tribes whilst sitting within one Brand Tribe and manage campaign activation. As a strong communicator and commercial planner, you will help drive the PPC roadmap across the group.

What will you do as a Group PPC Manager at N Brown? 

  • Develop our paid search capability to help the business deliver profitable new customer acquisition 
  • Oversee the planning of our paid search activity including strategy, budgets, targets and optimisation in order to reach business objectives in conjunction with the Head of Performance Media. 
  • Manage implementation of activity, ensuring you, your team and agencies/partners deliver excellent results 
  • Evaluate success of activity against clear targets; analyse results and identify opportunities; feedback performance and actions taken to the Head of Performance Media and Marketing Heads. 
  • Stakeholder management keeping key stakeholders updated on strategy, optimisation, performance, innovation and industry developments and their impact on our business 
  • Create best practice methodologies to help us deliver a digital centre of excellence in the business 
  • Thought leadership be the eyes and ears of the business for paid search; keep up to date with developments in digital, spotting opportunities & assessing impact on our brands; keep colleagues up to date with developments. 
  • Line manage the PPC Managers and PPC Leads; oversee their continued development and that of the wider PPC team. Provide structured and ad hoc training/mentoring as required. 
  • Manage external agencies & third parties: ensure high quality of work to deadline and budget; develop and maintain positive and strong business relationship with key partners such as Google and Microsoft. 

 

What skills and experience will you have?  

  • 6+ years’ PPC experience with experience of a retail business 
  • Experience leading a medium sized team (6+ team members) 
  • Experience working in an Agile / Matrix structure (preferable) 
  • Experience working with SA360 and Google Analytics (preferable) 
  • A ‘growth’ mindset and the ability to constantly learn new trends and new skills 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Highly analytical with a keen eye for detail. 
  • A problem solver with an appetite to think outside the box and challenge convention 
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • A great team player who enjoys contributing to the wider success of a business
