The role 

 

The Brand Marketing Manager will lead and manage the brand marketing team for a dedicated brand or brands, responsible for the development and management of brand marketing communications through-the-line. This role will work closely with the wider marketing and creative teams, as well as stakeholders from buying/merchandising, design, trading, finance and brand strategy; supporting the business to meet its commercial objectives by providing the appropriate tools, materials and campaigns.

What will you do as a Marketing Manager at N Brown?  

  • Lead, develop and motivate a brand marketing team. 

  • Manage campaign materials, ensuring alignment with brand identity guidelines.  

  • Manage the development of integrated marketing campaign strategies and activity plans. 

  • Effectively translate product and promotional plans into customer relevant, compelling and authentic stories, executed through the line and aligned to the target consumer.  

  • Manage the implementation and measurement of integrated marketing campaigns, tracking, measuring and reporting against KPIs for key initiatives, distributing key learnings.  

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement campaign activity, including channel marketing team, product team, digital marketing teams etc, delivering on time and within budget. 

  • Manage the accuracy of marketing materials, responsible for the formal sign off process where required, ensuring comms are compliant with current and future regulatory and industry requirements.  

  • Responsible for the brand marketing budget, adhering to all policies and procedures with regards to budget expenditure, and displaying budget control. 

What skills and experience will you have?

  • Passionate, enthusiastic and self-motivated, with an ability to thrive under pressure. 

  • Strong planning and organisational skills, multi-tasking to meet objectives and deadlines. 

  • Experience co-ordinating multi-channel campaigns. 

  • Customer centric thinker, with an eye for style/fashion.  

  • Brand and digital marketing knowledge and experience.   

  • Experience of managing and influencing teams.  

  • Understanding of the end to end customer journey for an online retail business.   

  • A degree in marketing or a related discipline is desirable but not essential.  

  • Experience working within an agile framework is desirable but not essential.
