The Role and Responsibilities

 

We are looking for a new member to join our Sustainability team to support the group in implementing our Environment, Social and Governance strategy. This role will work closely with the Sustainability Lead to ensure that we are committed to reaching our ESG targets. This will involve updating and maintaining data, reporting progress and contributing to all projects that are required to drive sustainable development across products and the wider group.

 

You will be based at our headquarters in the Northern Quarter, Manchester.

 

This person will:

  • Complete data entry activities, tracking and reporting on environmental and social impact areas.
  • Conduct monthly horizon scanning reporting
  • Support the development of product and supply chain innovation
  • Support projects to reduce impact across the business that may be required to drive the sustainability strategy
  • Consult and advise sustainable practices within the business
  • Support the Sustainable Lead and the wider sourcing and quality team to progress the product and the supply base
