The role

We’re looking for an Credit Risk Analyst to join our Financial Services team

This role sits within the Credit Risk team, supporting the management of customer accounts and understanding the customer and commercial impacts of credit risk and product strategy changes. 

The role is ideally suited to somebody who has previously worked in credit product operations, with a high attention to detail and a flair for analysis.

 

What will you do as an Credit Risk Analyst at N Brown?

*        Responsible for creating account selections for credit product management operations and applying changes to accounts once approved.

*        Undertake analysis of risk and product changes, following guidance from your Manager and provide conclusions and recommendations.

*        Develop an understanding of Financial Services objectives and contribute ideas for improving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

*        Responsible for producing reports in a timely manner and ensuring the accuracy of regular reporting, including to senior management.

*        Develop an understanding of the Financial Service key metrics and how changes in these can affect N Brown performance.

*        Provide support in the planning, testing and implementation of strategy changes relating to the product offering or risk decisioning.

*        Develop existing SQL, excel and presentation skills

 

What skills and experience will you have?

*        Accurate, with a high attention to detail

*        Self-motivated and reliable

*        Strong communication skills

*        Comfortable with a mix of work, from repetitive operational tasks to ad hoc analysis

*        Logical thinker

*        Proficient in SQL

*        Use of Microsoft excel, including lookups, pivots and charts

Ways of Working

We offer hybrid working which varies across the business depending on the role you’re in. Our Head Office is located in the Northern Quarter in Manchester City Centre. So if you are travelling by train, tram or bus we’re perfectly located, plus we’re surrounded by cool cafes, trendy bars and the best places to eat!

Our working hours are 36.17 per week and our core working hours are between 10am - 4pm. Given we don’t have strict working hours you can find the working pattern that’s right for you.
