N Brown have an exciting opportunity for a Social Media Marketing Assistant to join our busy Brand team! We’re looking for a passionate and ambitious individual who loves all things social media, with a strong interest in fashion, to play a key role in driving forward Simply Be’s social media content strategy.
You will work closely with the Social Brand Lead to ideate, plan and deliver inspirational and of-the-moment social content that drives brand awareness, engagement and follower growth on the channel. You will build relationships with the wider brand marketing team and other key stakeholders in order to inform plans and execute social media content, primarily across Instagram and Facebook, as well as identifying opportunities and developing the brand’s presence on other platforms, such as TikTok.
What you'll do:
Coordinate content across multiple social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and other relevant platforms
Write social copy and publish all content to channels on a daily basis in line with the social calendar
Prepare social creative briefs and input social requirements into wider marketing briefs to enable the creation of inspirational social content fit for platform
Work confidently with the design and creative team to create on-brand social content
Manage the social calendar and omnichannel tracker ensuring it is kept up to date
Assist the Social Lead on monitoring performance and analysing results for key campaigns
Liaise with the paid social team to ensure alignment across marketing and digital teams, for key activity and campaigns
Attend photoshoots to create inspiring behind the scenes social content
Produce a brand cultural calendar identifying events to mobilise content around
Collaborate with the product department to monitor when stock will land to make informed decisions on product choices for shoots and campaigns
Produce activity summary making recommendations on future activity
Understand brand tone of voice and ensure consistency in all communications
Understand product range and brand technologies, confidently communicating them across all social platforms
Complete competitor audits and monitor social trends, keeping abreast of industry trends
Who you are:
You will ideally have a degree or equivalent and a strong interest in Marketing
Knowledge of and a demonstrable interest in fashion would be advantageous
Strong copywriting skills with attention to detail is essential
Organisational and administrative skills
Computer literate with intermediate level skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Email
Knowledge of all social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube and emerging platforms
Able to organise self with a flexible attitude
Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
