As a Talent Acquisition Lead at N Brown (Financial Services and Logistics) you’ll be passionate about bringing our brands to life, understanding and translating our values into eye-catching adverts, sourcing potential candidates via a variety of platforms in a highly competitive sector and bringing a fresh approach to candidate attraction for N Brown Group. You’ll be enthusiastic, an innovative communicator and able to appeal to the various talent groups. You will embrace the use of technology, in particular social media, to engage and communicate our employer value proposition.

It goes without saying that you’ll be hands-on with day to day recruitment and selection and will enjoy working with, and coaching, a wide variety of internal stakeholders and team colleagues to ensure we get the right talent for each business area. In return, you will have a genuine opportunity to influence, lead and make an impact in our growing business.

 

Additional responsibilities include:

 

  • Creating attention grabbing adverts and campaigns to attract talent
  • Collaborating and supporting internal stakeholders to design a dynamic and engaging attraction and selection process to maximise the candidate experience
  • Working with our People Leads and Senior Managers to understand future talent needs, talent risk and to identify hidden talent in our business.
  • Interviewing and assessing potential colleagues for all areas of our business at all levels
  • Attending and creating networking events or ‘meet ups’ to enhance your Recruitment and business knowledge, developing your understanding of the external/competitor market to attract future talent
  • Researching and testing new ways to engage and communicate with potential colleagues with a focus on new or upcoming technology and social media
  • Analysing and developing meaningful MI for the present and the future
  • Contributing to the development of the talent acquisition teams skills, knowledge and behaviours and being a subject matter expert for all things Recruitment related
  • Coaching or influencing hiring managers or key stakeholders in the business to develop their personal external branding and network to build their pipelines of talent and to make the right hiring decision
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with selected 3rd party business partners such as recruitment agencies, technology providers, universities etc
  • Presenting to the team or senior stakeholders insights/ideas for attracting the best talent to our business

 

What we’re looking for:

  • We are looking for someone with either internal or agency recruitment experience. You will be familiar with attracting candidates/customers through various channels and already have an extensive network of connections and understanding of the these areas
  • Creative writer and social media savvy, you will be familiar with using platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to make engaging content and build connections/pipelines of potential applicants
  • Proactive individual with strong attention to detail and follow through on action plans.
  • Skilled negotiator with excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Gravitas to work with and influence at all levels of management.
  • Excellent project management, writing and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
