A bit about the role: 

As a Business Analyst working within the Digital Technology team, you will get the chance to work across all areas of the business supporting our digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives! 

 

In your role as a Business Analyst here at N Brown, you will capture, analyse, validate, and document business requirements/user stories at the start of a project whilst developing As-Is and To-Be process definitions and performing process or data analysis. You will act as the point of contact for the business and delivery teams regarding questions, challenges, or amendments to requirements throughout the project lifecycle and work alongside Product Managers when the required changes are delivered via squads.  

 

What you will do:  

  • You will be responsible for scope definition and business requirements capture. 
  •  You will lead workshops to understand the needs of multiple stakeholders and to facilitate the negotiation of these needs into agreed requirements. 
  • You will carry out gap analysis to understand and highlight where the proposed solution does not meet the business requirement 
  • You will help the business stakeholders envisage the future and formulate business impact assessments; identifying business owners and defining and rolling out updated business processes to support IT solution changes. 
  • You will assist the Business and DT in the preparation of user acceptance test plans, scenarios, and test scripts to ensure the solution delivered meets the business requirements/acceptance criteria. 
  •  You will assist the Business and DT Data squads with analysis of data requirements and preparation for programme and project cutovers. 

 

Who you are:  

  • You will be a proactive and collaborative team player, who enjoys working with people from across the organisation and actively contributes to the BA Community. 
  • You will be able to demonstrate experience working in a complex business, on IT projects that have delivered solutions across multiple technologies. 
  • You will have experience working within an Agile environment alongside Product Managers. 
  •  You will be an innovative and motivated Business Analyst with excellent analytical skills to identify creative and cost-effective solutions. 
  • You will have experience of analysing and documenting complex business processes and supporting the resultant business change. As well as experience in clearly defining scope and writing requirements/user stories with acceptance criteria to reflect the agreed scope. 
  • You will have experience in testing. 
  • You will have the ability to think both strategically and tactically. 
  • You will show the ability to understand and respond to both end user and delivery team needs in rapidly changing business environments.

  • Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
